Mika Ella released the first single "Take It Or Leave It"

Mika Ella just released her first single "Take It Or Leave It" in retro, italo disco new generation style. You can listen to it on all streaming platforms and buy it on Bandcamp (links below). The song was written by Mika Ella and produced by Chris Hurts. 

Mika is a singer/songwriter from Croatia, she released three chart-topping albums with her band Matrix (dance, EDM) locally, as well as more than ten singles. She won several prizes with the band, performed on numerous festivals and had some singles released by Warner Music in central Europe.

Now Mika is turning a new page in her career with this retro song written by her and produced by her partner Chris Hurts. They both grew up during the eighties, so they decided to produce new songs sounding like music from their childhood.

Another reason is, as Mika says: “The world is changing every day. I miss the told times when everything was simpler. Maybe that’s why I love retro music.”

Today, both Mika and Chris are fans of retro music such as synthwave, italo disco new generation, anything that resembles ‘80s sounds and atmosphere.

While promoting her first single, Mika and Chris are in the studio, working on new materials for her first EP “Stories From The Future That Never Happened”.
